Brandenburg Primary School 
Uniformity Policy


  1. Uniformity will consist of pants, skirts, shorts, skorts, or jumpers in navy or khaki colors and a white, navy, burgundy, or hunter green button down blouse or polo shirt with collar. A plain white t-shirt, designated school t-shirts and/or sweatshirts may also be worn. No clothing with words or logos are allowed except school related clubs and the Brandenburg Primary logo. All students must wear appropriately sized clothing.

  2. Tennis shoes/athletic shoes with rubber soles that either tie or Velcro are required. Please no slip on shoes.

  3. Sweaters, sweatshirts, and vests are optional but need to be navy, white, burgundy, or hunter green if worn. A tie that coordinates with the school uniform may be worn. All shirts (excluding sweaters and sweatshirts) must be tucked in.

  4. Any visible sock, tights, or leggings must be a solid color and free of logos, patterns, and/or labels. Allowable colors are white, navy blue, hunter green, burgundy, and black.

  5. The last Friday of the month and other designated days will be identified as free dress day. Students not in compliance with uniformity guidelines will receive a letter home, call to parents, and/or provided with a school uniform for the day.

  6. No hats or scarves of any kind will be worn during the school day unless designated as a school wide reward incentive.

  7. Policy would be effective on the first day of the 2017-2018 school year.
