Wow! Our BPS Hager’s Hurricane Helpers really know the meaning of helping hearts.
We collected $1,327.00 during our Penny Drive! In case you are curious, that was 39,482 coins.
A few generous hurricane helpers in our community donated $550 in memory of Ms. Hager too.

We collected a grand total of $1,963!

We will split the money 3 ways between the following groups:

Rockport Fulton Schools in Aransas, Texas................................................. $ 654.00

Best Friends Animal Society for Hurricane Irma relief efforts in Florida ....... $ 654.00

UNICEF USA for Hurricane Maria relief efforts in Puerto Rico..................... $ 655.00

We want to extend our sincerest thanks to the wonderful staff at The Cecilian Bank in Brandenburg for allowing us to use their coin counting machine. Without them, we would still be counting coins! Thanks to Mrs. Jean Barger for transporting us to the bank. A special thanks to Ms. “T” Nixon for her support and encouragement of Hager’s Heroes!
